In 2022 Anniwaa produced and starred in a stunning film noir, shot in the heart of West Africa: MOON OVER ABURI. It was a collaboration by an all-Ghanaian team, written by Emmy Award-Winning Dr. Kwame Dawes. Moon Over Aburi has just started its festival circuit and has been officially selected to be a part of the Joburg Film Festival.
Anniwaa once again narrates the audiobook version of the phenomenal novel Daughter in Exile by Caine Prize-nominated writer Bisi Adjapon. “ A gut-wrenching but heartwarming story about a young Ghanaian woman's struggle to make a life in the U.S., and the challenges she must overcome.” More details HERE

Anniwaa is staring in a new BBC teen drama PHOENIX RISE. Created by lead writers Perrie Balthazar and Matt Evans. Phoenix Rise is set in a West Midlands school and follows a diverse group of teens who are taking their first tentative steps back into mainstream education after being excluded.

Anniwaa has been invited alongside Ghanaian American Filmmaker to judge the highly competitive LIVE Grand Finale of @CastingAfrica Monologue Challenge, in Ghana-Accra.
Having worked with Casting Director Kwasi Boasiako Antwi on her film Moon Over Aburi, Anniwaa knows it will be hard to decide which talent up and coming Ghanaian actor will take the title of the Best Performance.
